One of the most iconic airlines in the world, aimed for the skies, to level-set, elevate and innovate, across their internal learning design landscape.

Task

A passionate in-house learning academy had the collective goal, of both accelerating their capability and output. To cater for a fast-paced and heavily regulated industry, they are backed by satellite and functionally-specific learning teams internally. They collectively required a fresh approach to design processes, practical capability and design culture.

As a time-critical and customer-facing
business, the operation comes first, and
safety is the number one priority.  Providing
the right development opportunities to
ensure colleagues are supported to meet
these priorities, is paramount.

The challenge we were partnering on to overcome here, was helping their internal teams to operate in a consistent, streamlined and practical approach to learning design. To be able to put this into action with any area of the business, on any topic.

Ultimately, balance company-critical activities and skill requirements, with a coherent message and action plan for learning design.

The program was structured into three key areas: Workshop #1: Relationship Management, Workshop #2: Design and Deployment, and Workshop #3: First Iteration.

Participants also gained access to a wealth of resources, available before, during and after the workshops, for ongoing reference and support, created in collaboration with the wider in-house academy.

This experience offers the opportunity for teams to explore and share valuable insights, gain product design specific skills, all whilst working to a unified process, in support of their specific business goals.
